Recap is an annual year-end report that provides users with a compilation of data regarding their activity on the YouTube Music app throughout the year. Our team developed the brand identity for Recap 2022. We collaborated with illustrator Benedikt Luft to create a unique concept and striking visuals. In order to capture the attention of Gen Z, we used bright and bold neon colors throughout the design. The key-visuals were used in playlist art across YouTube and YouTube Music, event design for YouTube Shorts and billboards across the United States, in Nashville, Miami, Atlanta, Los Angeles and New York.
