As part of KAWS’ first major solo exhibition in London, KAWS: NEW FICTION, we created a visual identity that inhabits the physical and virtual world as well as augmented reality. Audiences could find the visual identity on the grounds of the Serpentine Galleries, through the screens of their mobile devices, or within the virtual world of the video game Fortnite. This exploration in multi-layered realities charts new territories for the artist’s creative practice and the exhibition space alike.
