BOLT
HOME APPLIANCE REPAIR SERVICE
Brand Identity / Interaction Design

CLIENT— Bolt
INSTRUCTOR— Andrew Herzog, Saad Moosajee

ROLE— Concept, Design, Animation, Creative Direction

As part of our efforts to enhance Bolt's brand identity, I was tasked with developing a new brand system that would better capture the company's unique offering of in-home services for home appliances. Drawing inspiration from the brand's namesake and core values, I set out to create a playful and dynamic visual identity that would help the brand stand out in a crowded marketplace.

To accomplish this, I developed a custom typeface based on the iconic shape of a nut and bolt, which served as a playful nod to the brand's name and core service offerings. Using this typeface as a foundation, I crafted a new logotype that was both bold and memorable, and that helped to reinforce the brand's commitment to high-quality and reliable in-home services.

In addition to the new logotype and typeface, I also created a fresh color palette and photographic style that better aligned with the brand's playful and approachable personality. By leveraging these new branding elements, we were able to more effectively communicate Bolt's unique value proposition to customers and establish the brand as a trusted provider of in-home services for all types of home appliances.
